Working out is very beneficial, being healthy, getting in shape, or just feeling good. It's a lot of work but it's definitely worth it.
Here are a few reasons as to why I've jumped up and started doing some exercises and trying to workout. :)
1. IMMUNITY. Studies show that people who work out at least 5 times a week recovered more quickly from colds and flus than people who aren't active.
2. SLEEP QUALITY. Those who workout/exercise tend to fall asleep faster and snooze more deeply.
3. ENERGY. People have reported 20% less day-time fatigue when they started working out regularly.
4. DEPRESSION. People who workout/exercise at least 5 times a week had less symptoms of depression.
5. BREAST CANCER. Women who were active at least 150 minutes a week were 40% less likely to develope breast cancer.
I am very interested in that last one. I would like to prevent that in ANY way possible.
